Why the BERKANA (or BEORC) rune in the visual appearance? Besides resembling a “B” as in Barkholt, the intention is to be inspired by: The direct meaning is “birch (branch)” or maybe a solid foundation as a “mountain”. The more soft and mythical interpretations historically are related to e.g. growth, (continued) new starts, tangible results, immediate implementation and also represents where your true home is (incl. “home where your heart is”). A saying related to BERKANA: “The most obvious Truth is hidden deep within, and only you will ever know it“.
My way of working for a customer: The results we create together must be deeply rooted in the history, culture and “core” of your organisation. And firmly based on the (perhaps somewhat hidden) knowledge and expertise in your own organisation. Too many consultants come with their own and “locked” framework and methods – and often rather high costs. Therefore I want to deeply understand the situation of your company and connect with the organisation. First then we create new solutions for the future. But we shall try to do it in a relatively short and intense time period if deemed realistic. We DO NOT create long PowerPoint presentations or reports! Probably we will end up having a one-pager describing what to do.
My experience: I have worked with management/leadership, strategy, analysis and business development as an employee in a range of companies: Rambøll Management, Ennova, Royal Unibrew, Ørsted and Danfoss. I have held upper level management positions, e.g. responsibility for divisions with billions of DKK in turnover and significant EBIT. I have two degrees from Aarhus University: Business economics (exam.oecon) and Political Science (cand.scient.pol). Also executive leadership education and training.
